Your lifestyle photo shoot
Lifestyle photography is all about you. Because your photo shoot takes place in your chosen location and not in the formal surroundings of a studio, you can relax, allowing your personality to shine through in the beautiful photographs that Katie will take.
A photography session with Katie is not intensive. Her shoot will allow time for you to get to know each other as well as to take a break to change clothes or location, wait for a cloud to pass, or simply to grab some refreshment and return bright and ready. By making the session enjoyable and putting you at your ease, Katie will be able to capture the natural and striking images that show you at your very best.

Your space
In your space
Where do you love to be? That’s the question that will decide where your photo shoot takes place. As lifestyle photography is all about allowing you to act informally and naturally, many people ask Katie to photograph them in their own homes – a chic sofa or great garden can make a superb location. A home portrait session can be the best option when little ones are involved and, as always, your convenience is our priority.
But Katie would love to come on an adventure with you. Let's go to a colour-filled park, the sweeping landscape of a scenic beach, or the peaceful getaway of your favourite hill-top. Katie will capture personal, unique images that will take you back to that special place whenever you look at them.
Based in Derbyshire, Katie is well-placed to travel anywhere and travel up to 50 miles each way is included in the cost of the shoot. Where multiple locations, overnight stays or travel abroad are involved, Katie will be delighted to provide a bespoke quote.
Your Pictures
Your Presentation
Katie’s personal and professional service continues after the photo shoot when she presents your images, usually about two weeks after the shoot. In the comfort of your own home, you will view a slideshow of all the photos set to music. The presentation is informal and relaxed – you can take your time and have fun whilst deciding which pictures to buy. It’s a good idea that children do not attend the presentation so that you can give your full attention to selecting your favourite photos.
Your Online Gallery
An online gallery enables your friends and family to view and order any of the pictures taken during your photo shoot. For just £20, your private gallery will be online for two weeks and only those that you invite can view it. The gallery images are low resolution so that they will load quickly and are sensitively watermarked to prevent Katie’s copyright being infringed.
Choosing your pictures
It can be tremendously hard to choose from 100 or more stunning photographs! Think about which pictures would look best artistically framed on your walls and which would better suit a family photo album or coffee table book. Stylish canvas prints and acrylic blocks are available for those who would like their images to make a bold, modern statement in their home or office.
Don’t forget to order gifts for family and friends – classic, framed portraits or striking canvases make perfect presents. A wide range of options are available to show off your photographs. Rest assured that Katie is always on hand to provide expert advice on choosing images and products and to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your investment.
Ordering, delivery and payment
Katie will take your order at the presentation meeting. It will be processed as soon as full payment is made and your photographs will then normally be delivered within 21 days. Whether your order is a treat for you or gift for friends and family, it will be beautifully gift wrapped and lovingly sent to your chosen location by special delivery.
